EDUCATION SOCIETY AND CULTURE

EDUCATION SOCIETY AND CULTURE

These three aspects are composed of many factors, some of them impact positively and others negatively; In my opinion they do negatively on our country are political, corruption, inequality between rural and urban populations, war, the educational model and the gap between rich and poor.

Those who positively impact are: the diversity of all kind in Colombia, the leading role of women in any society and globalization that opened borders of all kinds to know and understand that there is a world outside full of opportunities and effort that may someday get a better country.

In many of these aspects is nothing that we can do, but at one another and it is our obligation to do something; Education, this aspect transforms life and opens paths and is our challenge as teachers prepare and give the best for our students to help them achieve their goals, be better and change this country that we need it.

Video Por qué en Colombia Somos Pobres

Video Por qué en Colombia Somos Pobres

The subject is discussed by comparing three children,One Colombian, one Swiss and one Japanese, it wonders how is it possible that a country as rich as Colombia with emeralds, gold and other minerals such as oil and many products with great diversity wildlife products such as coffee ,has  more than 20% of the population in extreme poverty
, contrary to Japan which is almost three times the Colombian population and Switzerland being a small country.

They show us  how with education policies and training of human talent , japan went ahead after the second world war and how Switzerland is a world power in the manufacture of chocolates, watches and pharmaceuticals products.

What is the difference ; discipline, perseverance and clear goals in order to improve the life-style of their people.

The Rovers History

Reflection Kolb´s in our class

It is very important to apply in our classes learning styles of our students proposed by Kolbs, that identifying each can form study groups with different learning styles and safe reach better results, on the other hand gives us as teachers valuable information when preparing the class and issue it as pedagogy with each other and styles should be accommodated in the style of the student to achieve better learning outcomes
